Adept have been working with the national charity Cancer Research UK for a number of years. Our initial project for the charity was the development of the brand identity for a high profile annual event, The Mistletoe Ball. The project included the development of all printed collateral for the event and a new website. The Mistletoe Ball has raised nearly £925,000 so far and we hope to see this figure break £1 million this year. Following on from our work on this project we were offered the opportunity to work with Cancer Research UK on a number of other projects.
We developed an email marketing campaign for Breast Cancer Awareness that was to be sent out to a nationwide audience. Adept took the lead on the project to produce a campaign that we felt had the right design and tone to produce the best results. We were thrilled to hear that soon after the email was sent they saw a very high response rate.
The Busking Cancer campaign was another project Adept were involved in. The campaign focused on asking musicians to get out there and busk, with all of their takings going to Cancer Research UK. As part of this project we produced a digital e-learning kit that was sent to interested parties, online advertising for sites such as Myspace and an email campaign that was sent out to raise awareness of the campaign.
