Having worked with Farm Africa for a number of years, Adept were excited to be offered the opportunity to work with the charity on the next generation of their website.
Following a recent rebrand and considerable growth in the charity, a new website was required to help set the charity up for the next few years’ activities. A new website was designed and developed, based around the Unicity CMS to allow the organisation to maintain, grow and develop the website with new and updated content such as news, case studies and project information.
The new website was developed with an effective donation facility to maximise the donations received online, as well as to allow targeted fundraising for specific campaigns through the use of custom forms. Visitors can make donations by credit/debit card through a secure payment gateway, or set up a regular donation using a direct debit facility, all fully integrated into the Farm Africa website.
Through the use of tagging, news articles, publications and videos are made available throughout the website supplementing the engaging content with up to date additional information.
The website is designed to work seamlessly on tablets and mobile devices through the use of modern cross-compatible techniques, and through the implementation of a responsive design to optimise the site when viewed on a small screen.
The Farm Africa website also incorporates a number of additional facilities for fundraising such as an e-cards system allowing visitors to send customised cards to their friends and family, and facilities for event booking and registration.
