Following a long relationship with Mulberry House, the UK’s leading provider of health and social care training DVDs, Adept were approached to develop an e-learning facility for the company to allow customers to take courses online.
Adept worked with Mulberry House to define the appropriate technology and implementation strategy for bringing this facility to life. After researching existing systems that were available and defining customer requirements, a bespoke online e-learning platform was created that catered specifically for the needs of this client base.
The DVD material was split up into smaller chunks that could easily be watched online, and each course was given a series of multiple choice questions. On completing the course the visitor can download a personalised PDF certificate that shows their score. A variety of account management features are available for managers to allow them to enrol employees onto appropriate courses and monitor their progress.
The website integrates with HSBC to take secure credit card payments in real time, allowing visitors to pre-purchase credits on their account that can be used for any course.
Adept also handle a range of email marketing and pay per click advertising for Mulberry House and Social Care TV to drive additional traffic to the website.
Since the launch of the site in November 2009 the website has seen consistent month on month growth. Adept continue to work with Mulberry House to provide additional support and capacity as the website usage grows.
