GRCC

GRCC was established in 1923 and is a charity which engages with Gloucestershire's rural communities to enable sustainable community development and empower community groups.

GRCC had a website that was built on an extensive database of rural community centres. The problem was that the website was very out of date with a poor navigation structure and in no way portrayed the full range of services the charity provides.

We worked with GRCC to plan out the new website to enhance the user experience. Through the use of wireframes and analysing the way the database operated we were able to create a new website that gave the visitor to the website easy access to the town hall database and a clear indication of the range of services provided by the charity.

Integration of our SmartWeb CMS means updating the database is made simple and keeps the website current. New services and news events can be added by various members of staff with little or no prior experience of using content management systems.
